How do you determine where ads will be placed?
Ads will be placed according to what was purchased. Gold ads will be placed on the Gold page, Silver ads on the Silver page and
Bronze ads on the Bronze page. The ad images there are placed in the order they were received. We start at the top left and work
our way across. So the first nine ads of any Category will fill up that first row. The tenth ad would start the second row.

Why does the main page display different ads when I visit?
Currently the main page is set to display every ad that we have in our database. Once we start to fill up with ads the
main page will be changed to randomly select a Category (Gold, Silver, Bronze).
The random selection for the main page at that time will be on a percentage basis. The selection will be set to show
Gold ads the most often and Bronze ads to be the least often. The odds that a given Category will show:
Gold Ads - 3:6 (50.0%)
Silver Ads - 2:6 (33.3%)
Bronze Ads - 1:6 (16.7%)

Can I order a size larger than 80 by 15 pixels?
Sorry but 80 by 15 pixels is the maximum size that you can order for any one ad. You can, however, purchase multiple ads.

Can I purchase more than one ad space?
Yes you can purchase as many ad spaces as you would like. The obvious limit to the number of spaces that you can purchase
is the number of spaces that are available for any given Category.
We currently do not offer a method to buy more than one ad space at a time. If you would like to buy more than one ad
space you may either contact us or go through out purchase
process for each ad that you would like to buy.
For each ad you buy you will be given a unique id number.

What are the different Categories?
The categories are ways for us to separate the ad space. The three categories are: Gold,
Silver and Bronze.

What are the Pros and Cons of each Category?
Each category will randomly appear on our main page once ad space starts to fill up. Gold will be shown more often
than Silver and Silver will be shown more often than Bronze. If you would like to increase the chance that your ad will
be seen then you should purchase a Gold ad.
Category/Level - Odds for Main Page Display
Gold Ads - 3:6 (50.0%)
Silver Ads - 2:6 (33.3%)
Bronze Ads - 1:6 (16.7%)

Cost can be another Pro/Con depending on how you look at it. Our price for each category is as follows:
Gold Ad - $200
Silver Ad - $150
Bronze Ad - $100
(All prices are USD)
If you can't afford $200 for a Gold ad, then maybe Silver or Bronze would fit your needs.

Can I make changes to my image/information after buying ad space?
We do not allow you to change your image or information once it is input into our database unless there's an absolute need to
do so. A few examples of being allowed to change your image or information would be:
Your website has changed its name
The image you are using contains material that you have no legal right to use
We ask you to change your image due to a violation or our
Rules, Terms and Conditions.

How do I make an 80 by 15 image?
You can use a number of program including MS Paint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or The Gimp to name a few. Some font's
can be difficult to read when you make them too small so we suggest that you search online for "free pixel fonts" or
"free bitmap fonts".

Are you affiliated with any charity?
No, we are not affiliated with any charity. We simply would like to give some money that is earned from this site to help
others. The charities that may appear at this site have purchased ad space like everyone else has.

Why donate money?
We feel that being able to donate money to some charities is a good idea. It really becomes a win-win-win situation for
everyone involved. You buy ad space and get some hits for your site. We make a little money and help a few charities by
donating some money.

When/How will the donations be made?
You can read more about the charity donations on our About page.
When the raffles take place will be determined by when each category fills up. When a category fills up we
will hold the raffle within a few days and attempt to contact the winner. If they reply right away the donation can be made
right away. If we do not get a quick reply from the winners it could take up to a month or more to donate the money. We don't
believe it will come to that, but it's always a possibility.
Also the raffles and donations are based on a category filling up. Only when that happens will we hold a raffle for
that category . For the "Grand Raffle" of $79,000 going to March of Dimes we need to fill
every ad space on this site before that raffle will take place. Of course if we see that we're getting close and no
one's buying any more ad space, we may just donate the money anyway.

What about the rest of the money earned from this site?
The rest of the money earned from this site will be used in a number of ways. Taxes, payments to those who've worked on
the site, and more importantly some of the money will be used to fund future projects that will continue to help raise
money for other charities!

Why are you doing this?
Why are we doing this? This all came to be because of a dare. The idea quickly changed to make it a bit different from all
the other advertising sites selling space on their page.
We wanted to be able to give some money to some charities as well so we knew that we needed to make this a unique approach
so people will want to stop by to check out some links and to buy some ad space.

Haven't I seen this some place before?
It's possible. The idea was born after a dare between friends. It was a challenge to see if a site selling only ad space
would be able to make some money. However we wanted to make this slightly different than other sites like this so we put
a different twist on it.

How long will the site be online?
UPDATE: As of December 1, 2005 80by15.com has decided to extend the time your ad will be online!
We will now be online at least until January 1, 2011!
